05.11.2025 Greetings.
I don’t like the dark nights much but there’s something pleasing about being in the northern hemisphere where the lights of Advent and Christmas point us to remembering Christ as the light of the world. Love come down at Christmas.
This note forms part of the plan for the next quarter which the staff team work have worked prayerfully and carefully to produce. Each appointment is considered in turn as we hold local congregations and preachers in mind to help ease local arrangements and offer our best worship to God. We’re grateful to the local preachers and worship leaders who offer their gifts and time generously and we look forward to worshipping together at the circuit service planned towards the end of the quarter.
As the year draws to a close and the new year begins, we remember the covenant that we have with God as his people in this place. What might he be calling us to be or do differently as we continue our discipleship journey? What glimmer of hope and light is before us we prepare for Advent, Christmas and covenant during the weeks that this plan covers?
I wish you and all those you know and love God’s peace and love this advent and Christmas.
Every blessing
