Bourne Methodist Church

Featherstone Church is a small vibrant community church which meets for worship at 11am every Sunday followed by tea/coffee and cakes and at least once a quarter the service takes a café style of worship.

The Church hosts a community lunch on the second Tuesday of every month. Various other social events throughout the year also take place during the week, including fish and chip suppers, indoor bowls. quizzes, and prize bingo

The Church also has strong links to the local Primary school and Church members volunteer their help to maintain the Miners' Memorial and the War Memorial grounds.

They also hold a Featherstone's Friendship Club on Mondays when a range of activities are
on offer and material is supplied for card making, sewing, knitting, other crafts, art group or just a cake and a chat. All are welcome. There is always someone willing to help with new ideas or projects.
